i don't have an accent..it's just the way i talk. but i do cringe when our PM says "fentestuc."
and i don't have a problem with this. i think it’s hilarious and one of the funniest things to never come out of nz. i mean aussies taking the piss out of out ‘accent’ is not new. and these guys do a fentestuc job of it. good on them for raising our profile. i’ll take the free publicity any day. they just need to master the terminal rise that seems to afflict blonde girls (no offense to any blonde girls out there). and incorporate the phrase “do you gotta…?” it doesn’t matter how many times I correct it, they keep on saying it. bravo to the smart girl who yells the correct sentence construction at the culprits.
