that was my holiday...

i'm home now. what are my enduring memories?

singapore is flat, hot and has tonnes of tall buildings. it is not very green but it is trying to be. it has many different cultures there. there is a huge disparity between the haves and the have nots.

melaka (malacca to us english speakers) is interesting too. crowded and not as developed as where i live. hot, thought the sunburn is fading dammit. smelly, but i'm sure there are similar and worse smells elsewhere (but they soon pass...however the generator is currently eternal). lots of influences. and dirt cheap. 5 star hotel for 250 ringgit?(NZ$100)

most enduring memory? welcome to malaysia...here is my cock. when we first went exploring in melaka we went up this back street cos we could see a mosque dome there (i tried to insert the pic of it here but i don't know how to do that cos it hasn't appeared. i shall have to do some research)...anyway...she was taking pics and i was looking around. there was this dude on a scooter which seemed to be the predominant form of transport there cos there appeared be no road rules and no money and he was an interesting character. let me just say he appeared to be enjoying himself at our expense.
and i think i am a magnet for this kind of behaviour cos i saw it in LA as well. and on another note that is completely away from this entry. who is the idiot that invented over-write, and why do I keep hitting it, and how come I never remember how to turn the bastard off?

live long and prosper…until next time…
